His playing career was cut short by a serious knee injury, requiring multiple surgeries and a long recovery for over 2 years. Despite this setback, Willem remained deeply committed to the team. Today, he serves as head coach of Hollandse FC, showing up every week with unmatched dedication and passion. He is responsible for the team’s game strategy, tactical planning, and match-day leadership—an inspiring example of resilience, loyalty, and love for the game. |
